Learn more about Progesterone from our public research library
Progesterone is a special hormone in our bodies that helps our bodies stay healthy and balanced. Progesterone can be used to improve mood disorders, better mental health outcomes, keep bones strong and healthy, and help with better sleep.
The Progesterone Research Library from Solutions Functional Medicine is a publicly accessible collection of studies, clinical papers, and educational resources gathered to help patients, clinicians, and educators examine the science behind progesterone more closely.
This endeavor began because of my relentless curiosity about one of the most overlooked and misunderstood hormones in women’s health. I have collected, studied, highlighted, and organized the research because women deserve more than broad reassurances, outdated assumptions, or the instruction to simply trust the person in the white coat.
This research library was created from a simple conviction: women should not be asked to accept broad statements about their hormones without access to the evidence informing those statements. This publicly accessible library explores progesterone far beyond pregnancy and reproduction—including its influence on the brain, sleep, mood, memory, metabolism, inflammation, and long-term health.
This library invites you to review the research, consider the questions, and participate in a more informed conversation about women’s physiology.
I remain both a teacher and a student of this remarkable physiology, and I invite you not merely to take my word for it, but to open the library, examine the science, and join a better-informed conversation about the female body.
