Regenerative Medicine — Solutions Functional Medicine

Regenerative Medicine

Start with what you want back.

Tell us the pain, injury, or limitation that's in the way. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help.

What brings people in

Where does it hurt?

Pick the one that sounds like you. We start by figuring out what's actually driving it.

Knees

Cartilage wear and old injuries. Our most-asked-about area.

Back & Neck

Disc, joint, and soft-tissue pain. We review what's driving it.

Shoulders & Elbows

Rotator cuff and tendon wear, often when surgery is on the table.

Hips

Joint wear and the compensation patterns that come with it.

Sports & Overuse

Injuries that have been slow to recover. Looked at case by case.

Chronic Pain & Inflammation

When pain is the norm, we read the whole picture first.

Slow Recovery

Training or injuries that no longer bounce back the way they did.

Hormonal & Metabolic

Often the reason healing stalls. Frequently the thing nobody checked.

Listing these describes the conversations we have — not outcomes we promise. Candidacy is determined through clinical evaluation.

Your options

Five approaches. One conversation.

Your care team guides you to the one that fits — or tells you when none of them do.

Peptide Therapy

Short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body.

Platelet-Rich Plasma

Your own blood, concentrated for its growth factors and placed where it's needed.

Exosomes

Cell-derived signaling packets. The newest option, and the least settled.

NAD+

A coenzyme your cells use in energy metabolism. An add-on, not a headline.

Acoustic Wave Therapy

GAINSWave® for Recovery

Low-intensity sound waves delivered through the skin to a targeted area. No needles, no incisions.

The process

How it works

Four steps. Nobody discusses a specific therapy until step three.

01

Tell us the problem

What's happening, what you've tried, what you want back.

02

Look at the whole picture

Labs, imaging, history. Healing capacity is measurable — most clinics skip this.

03

Get a straight answer

Whether you're a candidate, what it costs, and what's realistic.

04

Follow through

Response gets reassessed. Plans get adjusted. Not a one-visit event.

Why we lead with this

A clinic that only tells you the upside is selling, not treating.

The science here is real and moving fast. The marketing has moved faster. We'd rather lose a booking than take your money for something we don't think will help.

Straight answers

Where each one actually stands.

If a clinic won't tell you the regulatory status of what they're selling, that's information too.

Peptides
Varies. Some are FDA-approved drugs; others are compounded, and certain peptides are restricted. We tell you which yours is.
PRP
Your own blood, minimally processed. Widely used. Evidence is strongest for specific joint and tendon applications.
Exosomes
No FDA-approved exosome product exists for any use. The FDA has issued a public safety notification on this category.
Biologics
FDA approvals for cell- and tissue-based products are limited to specific indications. Marketing them for joints or anti-aging falls outside those indications. We tell you exactly what a product is and where it stands.
NAD+
Not FDA-approved to treat any disease. Used as an adjunct alongside other care. Early research, real interest, no guarantees.
Acoustic wave therapy
Device clearances vary by device and by use, and many recovery applications fall outside cleared indications. We tell you the status of the device and the use.

Candidacy

Who this fits — and who it doesn't.

Usually a good conversation

  • Conservative care plateaued
  • You have recent imaging or a clear diagnosis
  • You're weighing surgery and want options first
  • You'll address the foundational stuff too
  • You want a realistic answer, not an enthusiastic one

Usually not the right time

  • Active infection or something needing urgent care
  • Certain cancer histories — specialist input first
  • Untreated metabolic or hormonal dysfunction
  • You're expecting a guarantee
  • Conservative options haven't been tried yet

Questions

Quick answers

Are all of these biologics?
No. Peptides, NAD+, and acoustic wave therapy aren't biologics at all, and PRP is made from your own blood. The categories get blurred in marketing constantly — we'll tell you exactly what any recommendation involves.
Will insurance cover it?
Generally no. Assume out-of-pocket unless we tell you otherwise. Costs are discussed in full before anything is scheduled.
How fast will I know if it worked?
Depends on the therapy — weeks for some, months for others. We define what we're measuring upfront so it's an answerable question.
What if I'm not a candidate?
We say so, and tell you what we'd do instead. A consultation that ends in a clear no is still a useful one.
